Traditional Christmas Cookies

Made with a traditional sugar cookie dough, the cookies are then cut out in holiday shapes and baked to perfection.  They have a buttery and slightly sweet flavor that perfectly compliments their festive frosting and decorations.

COOK TIME:  10 minutes

Ingredients

For the Cookies: •  All-purpose flour •  Baking powder •  Salt •  Butter

Step 1

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Step 2

Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.

Step 3

Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together.

Step 4

Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture until a dough forms. Add a little milk if needed to bring the dough together.

Step 5

Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.
