Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer.
Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat for an additional 2 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and dry vanilla pudding mix. Add the mixture to the butter/sugar mixture and combine.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking trays in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill the dough balls. You can also freeze the dough balls at this point.
Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 10 minutes.
Notes
Make sure the butter is soft before creaming with the sugars so it incorporates well.
Remember to chill the dough balls for about 30 minutes before baking.
