These easy Chocolate Glazed Donuts are baked not fried and then drizzled with a delicious sweet glaze.  They're the perfect treat this weekend for your family.

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 6 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda together in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, combine the egg, sour cream, milk and vegetable oil.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and combine.
  4. Spoon into the donut pan and bake in a 375 degree preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean; about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the donuts from the pan and allow to cool on a baking rack before drizzling the glaze on top.
  1. Combine all the ingredients for the glaze in a mixing bowl.
  2. Using a spoon, drizzle the glaze on top of the cooled donuts.
