Ingredients

  • 3 lbs St. Louis Ribs or Baby Back Ribs
  • 2 tablespoon Season Salt or your favorite barbecue rub.
  • Soda - see note
  • 2 cups Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  • Sprinkle the ribs with the Season Salt or barbecue rub and place in your crock pot.
  • Add the soda, enough to cover half way.
  • Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Remove from the crock pot and place in a baking dish and spread the BBQ sauce on top of the ribs.
  • Place the ribs on the grill over a medium flame.
  • Remember at this point your ribs are basically cooked all the way; we're just finishing them up on the grill to get those amazing grill marks.
  • Remove from the grill and cut the ribs into individual servings.

Notes

  • I like to use Coca-Cola. But you can use 7 Up, Ginger Ale; just make sure you use a soda with sugar. No diet allowed for this recipe.
