Blueberry Turnovers with Crescent Rolls

Looking for a delicious and easy-to-make pastry?  Try this recipe for blueberry turnovers with crescent rolls.  They're light and flaky and the blueberry filling is tart and juicy, a perfect compliment to the rich dough.

Ingredients

For the Turnovers •  Pillsbury Refrigerated       Crescent Rolls •  Blueberry pie filling •  Egg white

Step 1

Press the seams together and use a pastry roller to roll them out into one sheet of crescent roll dough approximately 8 inches wide by 12 inches long.

Step 2

Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into 6 even squares of crescent roll dough.

Step 3

Place the triangles on a baking tray with parchment paper and brush with an egg white.

Step 4

Then sprinkle granulated sugar on top of each turnover.

Step 5

Bake for 12 - 14 minutes in a preheated 375°F oven or until golden brown.
