Mason Jar Apple Pie

This mason jar apple pie is the perfect way to celebrate the season. It's made with cinnamon and sugar sweetened apples and topped with flaky pie crust.

This individual-sized pie is perfect for anyone who craves the taste of homemade apple pie but doesn't want to go through the hassle of making a whole one.

Ingredients

- Rolled refrigerated pie crust dough - Granny smith apple - Brown sugar - White sugar - Cinnamon - Nutmeg - Flour - Egg white - Water - Cinnamon sugar mix

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Peel the apple and chop into small cubes. Place apples into a mixing bowl.

1

Combine the brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour in a separate bowl, then add to the apples and mix together with a spoon until the apples are fully coated.

2

Set aside while you prepare the pie dough. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the refrigerated pie dough. Roll the dough out to about ⅛ inch thickness.

3

Using a cookie cutter, cut out the pie pieces. Gather the excess dough and roll it out again to cut out more pie pieces until you have 20 round pie dough circles.
