– Cheddar Cheese – Cooked Ground     Beef – Lettuce – Salsa – Black Olives

– Grape Tomatoes – Cream Cheese – Sour Cream – Taco Seasoning  – Mozzarella Cheese

Ready to make them?

STEP 1 

Mix taco seasoning into drained, cooled browned beef.

STEP 2 

Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa in a mixing bowl.

STEP 3

Spread the cheese mixture evenly in a 9x12 casserole dish or disposable aluminum pan for convenience.

STEP 4

Once the beef is cooked and seasoned, evenly distribute it over the other ingredients for a flavorful dish.

STEP 5 

Sprinkle finely shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef layer.

STEP 6 

Then add the layer of shredded lettuce. For this recipe I used iceberg lettuce.

STEP 7

Create a "blue square" with sliced olives in the top left corner to symbolize the American flag's blue field.

STEP 8

Cut star shapes from cheese slices using a star-shaped cutter, then place them atop the sliced olives.

STEP 9

Add a layer of sliced grape tomatoes, leaving space for shredded mozzarella cheese.

STEP 10

Add mozzarella cheese between the grape tomatoes to create the red and white stripes of the flag.
