Instructions
Slice the watermelon into 1 inch thick slices. Use a mini star cookie cutter to cut star shapes out of the watermelon.
Thread 3 blueberries, a mini marshmallow, and a strawberry onto a bamboo skewer.
Then thread 2 more blueberries, a mini marshmallow, and another strawberry onto the skewer.
Top the kabob with a watermelon star.

Notes
Choose sturdy 6- to 8-inch wooden skewers—shorter sizes are great for easy serving and kid-friendly handling.
If using wood, soak the skewers in water briefly to help prevent splitting during assembly.
Slice all fruit into similar-sized pieces so they thread evenly and look neat.
Keep the kabobs chilled until you're ready to serve to maintain freshness, especially in warm weather.
Feel free to mix in other fruits like strawberries or bananas for variety while still keeping that patriotic theme.
Follow a simple red-white-blue color pattern for a festive and fun presentation.
