Instructions
Spray the inside and bottom of a slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Combine the garlic powder, minced onion, salt, and black pepper together in a small bowl. Then sprinkle the chicken with the mixture.
Pour the Coca Cola around the chicken.
Spread 1 cup of barbecue sauce over the chicken.
Cover the slow cooker and cook for 4 to 6 hours on the low setting.
Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place on a serving platter.
Brush the chicken with the remaining barbecue sauce.
Serve the chicken whole or shredded on hamburger buns.

To shred the chicken for sandwiches:
After the chicken has cooked, drain the slow cooker of the excess liquid.
Using two forks or
shredding utensils
, gently pull apart the chicken.
Add the remaining barbecue sauce on top of the pulled chicken.
Serve shredded chicken over rice or on sandwich buns.
