A soft and buttery cookie dough that’s simple to make and perfect for any occasion. Use it as is for classic cookies or add your favorite mix-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or sprinkles. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
Chill the dough for 30 minutes before scooping onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cookies are just beginning to brown on top.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
