box yellow cake mix; 15.25 ounce size

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare a large baking sheet with
parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the dry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil.
Then slowly stir in the chocolate chips.
Chill the dough for 30 minutes before scooping out on to baking trays.
Use a
cookie scoop
to place the cookies on baking trays lined with parchment paper.
Do not overcrowd the trays. The cookies will spread as they cook.
Bake in the preheated 350°F oven for 12 - 15 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool for 2 minutes on the baking tray.
Then remove them to cool completely to a cooling rack. If you move them too soon, they will fall apart.
Notes
Once baked, store the cake mix cookies in
air-tight containers
for up to two weeks.
To freeze the cookies, simply place them in a single layer on a baking sheet and “flash freeze” them until they are solid, around 30 to 60 minutes.
Then place the cookies in an air-tight container with parchment or waxed paper in between each layer to keep the cookies from sticking to each other.
You can freeze the cookies this way for up to 3 months.
