Ingredients

pure vanilla extract

baking soda

Instructions
In the bowl of your KitchenAid mixer, add the butter. Cream until smooth and fluffy.
Add the sugar followed by the eggs, vanilla extract and finally the dry ingredients.
Combine until everything is combined.
Keeping the mixture on low, add the sprinkles.
Continuing mixing for a few minutes until combined.
Remove the dough from the bowl and divide it into three separate logs.
Wrap each log in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours or even overnight.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator.
Slice the dough into ⅓ inch slices.
Place on a baking sheet that's been lined with parchment paper.
Gently flatten each cookie using the
tart tamper
.
Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 8 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking tray before removing them to a cooling rack to completely cool.
Notes
Store the baked cookies in an air-tight container in a dark cool place.
You can also freeze the baked cookies by placing the cooled cookies on a baking tray in the freezer.
