Spray an 8"x11" baking dish well with non-stick cooking spray.
Place the chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, stir together melted butter, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread mixture evenly over raw chicken breasts.
Place in oven to bake for 40 to45 minutes (baked uncovered). Chicken is done once the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature of the meat. Watch that the chicken isn't overcooked or it will dry out. Always check the temperature of the thickest chicken breast first by inserting the meat thermometer into the thickest part of the breast.
Once chicken is fully cooked, remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped parsley over top of chicken.
