For the Brownie Layer:

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

cream cheese

egg

powdered sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with foil or
parchment paper
, grease, and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well incorporated.
Add eggs, melted coconut oil, and vanilla to the flour mixture, and fold until all flour is wet and you have a thick batter.
Pour brownie layer into prepared pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together room temperature cream cheese, egg, and powdered sugar.
Once there are no more lumps in the cream cheese mixture, add orange food coloring.
Top with sprinkles and
candy eyes
.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until it is no longer jiggling in the center.
Let the brownies cool completely in order to make clean cuts.
Notes
You can use vegetable oil in place of the coconut oil.
Line the baking pan with
parchment paper
or aluminum foil for easy removal.
Refrigerate leftovers up to 5 days.
Smaller
candy eyes
tend to melt during baking. If this happens, just add some new ones while the brownies are hot.
The cream cheese layer may crack. It just adds to the spookiness!
