Pour breadcrumbs into a shallow dish and set aside.
Pat chicken dry with a paper towel.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of the chicken breasts.
Place each chicken breast one at a time in the breadcrumbs, then spread mayonnaise on the top side. Flip over and coat the other side of the chicken breast with breadcrumbs.
Repeat the process with the rest of the chicken.
Place the chicken breasts in a casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Bake the chicken in a preheated 385°F oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
