Apple Dumplings

They're a fun twist on a classic dessert that everyone will love.

These apple dumplings are easy to make and a hit with everyone!

📋INGREDIENTS

– Refrigerated Crescent Rolls  – Two apples – Cinnamon/sugar mixture – White sugar – 2 sticks of butter – 1 cup Mountain Dew Soda

Ready to make them?

STEP 1 

Peel and core the apples, then slice into 16 pieces.

STEP 2 

Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar and set aside.

STEP 3

Unwrap and separate the crescent roll triangles.

STEP 4

Place an apple wedge on the wide end of each crescent triangle.

STEP 5 

Roll the apple wedge in the crescent dough. I use Parchment Baking Sheets for easy cleanup.

STEP 6

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla until the mixture is thick and clumpy.

STEP 7

Pour the mixture over the dumplings, covering them evenly. Then pour the soda around the rolls.

STEP 8

Bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
