Crescent Rolls with Mozzarella Cheese
All the flavor of pizza wrapped up in these Crescent Rolls with Mozzarella Cheese. Serve these for dinner or fun appetizer when entertaining.

Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
3
mozzarella cheese sticks
cut in half

tablespoons
butter
melted

teaspoon

Instructions
Open the package of Crescent Rolls but do not separate them.
On a lightly floured surface, use a rolling pin to gently press the dough together into a rectangle.
Cut the dough into 6 equal rectangles.
Spread about two teaspoons of the pizza sauce on top of each rectangle.
Then place ½ of a mozzarella stick on top of the pizza sauce.
Roll the dough up over the mozzarella stick being careful to pinch seams together.
Place seam-side down on cookie sheet that's been lined with parchment baking sheets.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with the Italian seasoning.
Brush on top of each crescent dough stick.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated 400 degree oven or until golden brown.
Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping on the side.
Notes
Pepperoni
- add pepperoni slices on top of the cheese sticks.
