Homemade Pizza Dipping Sauce is delicious and easy to make and serve so you can dip homemade pizza sliced into strips. They're also great for dipping pizza crust in! Make your next family get-together or party EASY with these two delicious homemade dipping sauce recipes.

A fun way to enjoy pizza is to serve Homemade Pizza Dipping Sauce on the side. We like to slice the pizza into strips and then make homemade ranch and fry dipping sauces. Oh my word...delicious!
Pizza Dipping Sauce
Another delicious dipping sauce you can try is my recipe for Homemade Garlic Mayonnaise. We love to use this recipe on top of grilled chicken sandwiches during the summer months, but it's also great for pizza.
Dipping sauce is not to be confused with traditional pizza sauce or marinara sauce that you put on top of the pizza. These dipping sauces are what you would dip the pizza or pizza crust in after it's been baked to add more flavor.
What dipping sauce is good with pizza?
Just a few years ago I would have never thought to serve a dipping sauce with pizza. But whenever we order pizza from Pizza Hut, we get a few of their different dipping sauces. I then started making my homemade versions to serve with my recipe for homemade pizza.
Our two favorites are homemade ranch and homemade fry sauce. Another favorite is Garlic dipping sauce that's also great for dipping the pizza crust in.
Pizza Dipping Sauce Made with Mayo
Both of these dipping sauce recipes start out with mayo. That's right, good old-fashioned mayonnaise.
For both sauces, you can replace the garlic powder and black pepper with my Homemade Steak Seasoning which is really just a seasoning salt made a combination of garlic powder, black pepper and salt. I use it for a lot of my recipes.

Ingredients for the Fry Sauce:
Make sure you print out the recipe below and save it for later!

- Freshly Ground Pepper

Ingredients for the Ranch Dipping Sauce:
- Mayonnaise
- Sour Cream
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Ranch Seasoning Mix
- Chopped Chives
- Garlic Powder
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Since you only need 1 tbsp. of the mix for this recipe, you should store any leftovers from the seasoning packet in an air-tight storage container.

How to Make Pizza Dipping Sauces
Combine the ingredients for the Fry Dipping Sauce and the Ranch Dipping Sauce in separate bowls.

Once everything is combined, you can serve the sauces immediately or store in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.

How to Store Dipping Sauces
I love to use these glass storage containers. They come in one cup size and two cup size. For both of these recipes, you should be able to use the one cup size.
The sauces can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. I have not tried freezing them, and I'm not sure they would freeze well since mayonnaise does not freeze well.

Tips for Preparing Dipping Sauces
Pizza Dipping Sauces can be prepared a day or two ahead of when you plan on serving them.
You can either purchase Ranch Seasoning Mix in bulk in a container or in the packets. If you do purchase the mix in bulk, you can easily store the extra seasoning mix in a mason jar.

We only started using them but really enjoying having a little something to dip the pizza crust in! Thanks for visiting.
I was looking for a homemade honey mustard dipping sauce.
The Ranch dipping sauce and the Fry dipping sauce don’t say anything about cooking them, but at the top of the recipes it says 10 minute cooking time. I don’t understand this.
The cooking time refers to prep time. That's how long it should take you to put the recipe together. There is no cooking involved. Thank you for visiting.
Love dipping sauces, would be great for a last minute Halloween party some friends are planning.
Great idea for a party!
