Dessert Crepes with Berries and Sweetened Cream Cheese
Soft homemade crepes filled with sweetened cream cheese and fresh berries make an easy dessert or brunch recipe perfect for holidays, weekends, or special breakfasts.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Continue mixing for another 2 to 3 minutes until the filling is light and fluffy.
Lay one crepe flat on a plate or work surface. Spoon about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the cream cheese filling down the center of the crepe. Top with a few sliced strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, spreading the berries evenly over the filling.
Gently fold the crepe in half or roll it around the filling. Repeat with the remaining crepes and serve with additional berries and powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Tips:
Use softened cream cheese for the smoothest filling and mix until light and fluffy before assembling the crepes.
Pat the berries dry before adding them to the filling to help prevent extra moisture.
Warm the crepes slightly before filling so they fold more easily without tearing.
Storage & Make Ahead
Store leftover cream cheese filling covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Crepes can be made a day ahead and refrigerated until ready to assemble.
For the best texture, add the filling and berries shortly before serving.
