Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F. If you are using a pizza stone, place the stone in the oven while it preheats.
Open the can of crescent rolls, but do not separate them.
Place them on a piece of parchment paper.
Press the dough together to form one big rectangle.
You can use a pastry dough roller or even a rolling pin.
You might need to sprinkle a little flour on top if you find the dough sticking.
Spread the pizza sauce over the dough leaving about an ½ inch to 1 inch crust.
Add the mozzarella cheese followed by the pepperoni, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
Remove the pizza stone from the oven. Be careful, it's very hot!
Gently lift up the edges of the parchment paper and place either on top of the preheated pizza stone or a baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 - 12 minutes or until the crust is brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Slice the pizza into 8 squares and serve.
This pizza should serve 4 people with a nice salad on the side.
Notes
Add your favorite pizza toppings:
Chopped Peppers
- add red, green and yellow peppers to the top of the cheese.
Italian Sausage
- brown a few links of sweet Italian sausage and crumble it up and toss on top of the pizza sauce before adding the cheese.
Mushrooms
,
Black Olives, Chopped Broccoli
- make it a veggie pizza!
