  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Measure and add all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • Whisk to blend ingredients.
  • Pour the waffle mix into a clean, dry mason jar.
  • Seal with a lid and add a label with a ribbon.

Notes

This recipe uses a 24-ounce mason jar. 
Use a wide mouth funnel to help you get everything in the mason jars without making a mess.
2 cups of waffle mix from the mason jar will make 8 waffles when combined with the wet ingredients.
To Make the Waffles: 
Combine 2 cups of waffle mix, 2 eggs, 1 ¾ cups milk, ½ cup vegetable oil and ½ teaspoon vanilla together in a bowl. Pour batter onto the center of the hot waffle iron, and cook according to the directions on the appliance.
