Comforting Chicken Soup

It doesn’t get any more comforting than a bowl of Homemade Chicken Soup on a cold blustery day.  Thankfully my family loves this recipe all year long and yours will too!

This soup is one of my Family's Favorite Chicken Recipes and I hope you'll enjoy this recipe as much as we do.

Ingredients

- Chicken tenderloins - Olive oil - Salt and Pepper - Olive oil - Carrots - Celery - Onion - Chicken stock - Water - Bay leaf - Elbow macaroni noodles - Fresh dill or parsley

Cook the Chicken Heat oil in a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown both sides and season with salt and pepper.

Cook the Vegetables Heat a large stock pot on medium heat on top of the stove. Add the remaining oil. Add carrots, celery and onion to the stock pot – and stir to coat with oil.

Add the Chicken Stock Add the chicken stock, water and a bay leaf. Adjust heat to high and bring soup to a boil. Once boiling, adjust heat to a medium-low temperature and simmer soup for 8 minutes.
