Homemade Fluffy Waffles - Crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside is the only way to describe these incredibly waffles that start out with an overnight yeast batter.

Ingredients

For the Waffles: - active dry yeast - warm water - sugar - warm whole milk - melted butter - eggs - flour - salt - baking soda For the Pecan Praline Topping: - butter - chopped pecans - brown sugar - water - cinnamon - salt

In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water.

Prepare the Batter:

Add sugar and cover the bowl with a plate and let sit for about 5 minutes or until the yeast starts to foam.

Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and uncover.

Stir in the ½ tsp baking soda and combine well.
