This week's inspiration comes from Psalms 121 - My Help Comes from the Lord.

Psalms 121

I love the words to Psalms 121 because they are so powerful...even to this day!  Yes!  God is watching over us.  God is ready to help us.  We just need to ask or maybe spend some time crying out to the Lord.

When is the last time you cried out to God?

Are you currently crying out to God for your marriage, your children or maybe your home?  Or is it your health, your finances, a job?  Whatever the situation, God is ready to hear you and help you!

I think my favorite part of this chapter is towards the end, "The Lord will keep you from all harm, he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore."  How beautiful is that promise!  I'm clinging to it today...how about you?

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—

where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—

he who watches over you will not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—

the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day,

nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—

he will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going

both now and forevermore.
