Easy tips for Mother's Day Brunch Table Settings with a mix of old and new plates, glasses and more from two generations.
Today I'm going to share with you some photos from our Mother/Daughter Brunch at church last Saturday. Our Pastor's wife, Kelly, asked a few ladies to coordinate the Mother's Day Brunch Table Settings. We were to bring our very best dishes, china, and have fun.
My mom and I each have different blue and white dishes that we combined to create a pretty setting. I brought along my collection of teapots, creamers and sugar bowls. I also have three miniature tea sets that we added to the table.
The centerpiece is fresh tulips in a blue water pitcher that belonged to my grandmother. The blue glasses were the ones we used growing up that my mother gave to me a few years ago. I love using them for company at our house and they went along nicely with our table setting.
For the tablecloth, we used a "plastic" yellow liner from the dollar store with a white lace tablecloth that my mother has had for years. You couldn't even tell the liner was plastic. Everything blended so nicely together.

Mother's Day Table Settings
Another pretty table with fresh lilacs as the centerpiece. You can't see the actual pattern on the china used on this table, but the dishes have orange flowers that match the flowers in the centerpieces that Cathy made.
A Christmas themed table. This was really pretty.
I love the pink tablecloth that matched with the flowers on the china. This was such a cute idea! A picnic themed table. And there was even a table set up for the little princesses who came to the brunch. Yes, they had real china cups and saucers to use also, along with some crafts to keep them busy.
