...who didn't know anything about the wonderful feature Blogger has called 'Blog Roll?' At least I think that's what you call it!! It's on your dashboard and lists all the blogs you follow and lets you know if they've been updated recently.
I just found this tool the other day and what a blessing it has been!! It has made my life so much easier in checking out all the blogs I follow. I use to click on my own personal blog list on my blog and sometimes that took FOREVER! And when I would get to some one's blog and it wasn't updated, it was just another step!
So, if you're anything like me and haven't been using this tool, I highly recommend it! I spent a good amount of time this morning updating it and adding new blogs to my list...I feel so organized.
Now if only I can get my desk organized!! Oh, and the storage room downstairs needs organizing and my daughter's closet...I think I'll just go back to reading blogs. Enjoy your day!

And here's another little nifty trick if you don't want to bother with your dashboard. You can also add a bloglist to your sidebar (I know oyu have one, but can delete it and add a new one, as they have updated them) and it will list the blogs AND the name of their most recent post, which will let you know if it's new. Also, you can even have them rotate the blogs in the sidebar to put the ones with the newest posts on top. I have this sidebar feature on my blog, you'll notice if you look that you see "Walking on Sunshine" and then the name of your most recent post underneath. This way I just go to my blog site, and see right there, and don't have to scroll down or anything.

Okay, I just went to Google Reader and it's FABULOUS!!! I can read the whole blog entry there!!! Wonderful, but...NOW I may actually have more time on my hands so I may have to get to the other areas of my house that need some organization!!!! Thanks everybody!!!

Yes, I just started doing that about a month ago. I don't even have my bloglist on my blog anymore. Like you, it was taking me forever to get to everyone,,LOL. Now I just check this way...It's wonderful isn't it...I keep learning more and more all the time..

You are so funny. You might want to try Google Reader also. Load in your favorite blogs and it will continually pull in any new blog posts from your favorite blogs. That really made my life much easier.
Let me know if you need help with it. It took me a couple of times to figure it out.

I like that feature, too. I just added it last week. However, I subscribe to my favorite blogs in Google Reader, so it tells me when there are new entries to read on the blogs I follow. I'm all about making smart use of the time I waste! LOL!

I know, I love that Followers gadget, because like you, I was trying to put everyone in Favorites and then clicking through one by one, and when someone hadn't updated I was ready to pull my hair out!!!
