The above quote is what someone commented about my last post.
The post where I was talking about the Colonel leaving in a few weeks.
To go to Afghanistan.
To fight for our freedom.
Below is what the Colonel had to say:
"You may one day realize the value of those who man the wall on your behalf.
But first you will have to move out of your mother's house."
I think that says it all.
Oh, the name of this person's blog is called
"The Crap Blog Detective."
I guess he needs to start with his own blog.

I hope you guys will take the value of this guys comment for what it is - valueless. I linked back to his blog and saw some other derogatory comments about military families. I was born into a military family. My wife's dad was career air force. Both of our dads were men of high character and not deserving of comments as that made by this guy. Try to dismiss it. Giving it anything more than casual attention will feed his purpose and make him happy. God bless you guys.

Well, he or she is just one lil droplet in the ocean of all those that so appreciate and love our military men and families for all the sacrifices they make. So pay them no mind, they are truly deceived individuals full of hate
and bitterness and allowing themselves to be used by the enemy of our soul! Sad state of affairs for them!! Too bad there junk has to splash over onto everyone else.
You tell the Col. that we so appreciate him and all that he and his service buddies do for us to keep us free, we know if they were not over there doing what they
are doing, we would be fighting on our turf, after all they declared war on us, not the other way around. People just forget the truth so easily!! Amazing!
Hope you and your family have an awesome Thanksgiving at your sister's house. I am glad you don't have to worrry with all those preparations this year so you can just enjoy your time with Phil and the family.

Oh..My..Goodness...You have got to be kidding me. What in the world is the matter with people? That is just soo sad all the way around. Sad that you had to read and hear such a thing, and sad that there is someone who is as obviously messed up as he is. I almost feel sorry for someone that has nothing better to do than go around blogland leaving sensless and hurtful comments! I'm so sorry and saddened you had to be a victim of this IDIOT! I'm sorry that you were exposed to this senseless, tasteless comment. I read your blog a few days ago and couldn't think of a proper response to your pain. I have a son-in-law who is a Marine. He has been deployed to Iraq on three occasions and my heart grieves each time for him, my daughter and his family.The Lord has kept him each time. This is a very difficult time for you, and I am sorry that this insensitive moron chose your blog to spout his nonsense. I would encourage you to direct this to blogger as abuse. He will be investigated and shut down.
