So it seems the stomach issues I've been experiencing for the past year
have been due a non-functioning gallbladder.
I finally was able to have the HIDA scan on Monday.
Early Wednesday morning, 1:00 to be exact, I woke up with the same symptoms,
pain, pain, pain and horrible vomiting.
My Colonel took me to the ER after Michael was on the bus for school and
we found out the results of the scan which showed my gallbladder was
severely infected and only operating at 19 percent; no stones.
I had emergency surgery to remove the gallbladder yesterday.
I won't go into details, let's just say it was pretty bad.
Nothing they gave me would stop the vomiting.
I am home now, resting.
I'm happy I will be able to put this past year of pain and stomach issues behind me.
I know it will be awhile before things return to normal, but I'm hopeful.
