The battle of Gettysburg was fought on July 1-3, 1863.
The battle resulted in the largest number of casualties in the
American Civil War and is often described as the war's turning point.
Here are just a few of the pictures...
who fought that day.

Gettysburg is a fascinating place and one of my favorites. We plan to be there again in July of 2013, the 150th anniv. We live 2 days away, rather than 2 hours. 🙂 I always enjoy seeing photos of Gettysburg. Stopping in to say hi to you. My computer probably won't be up and running for another week. Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Lois,
Well, you were a very busy girl while they were gone, and I bet they were happy you stayed home after all these delectable treats waiting for them.
Your table was very pretty, love that tablecloth, and your bunnies so cute.
All that food looked wonderful.....
You and the col. will have to go back there sometime and enjoy it together since it isn't too too far away.
Have a great weekend hon,
Love and Blessings, Nellie
