Michael.
He's sick.
He's been sick since Labor Day.
He came down with a typical upper respiratory infection over Labor Day weekend.
Which then went into bronchitis.
Which left behind a terrible, annoying cough.
He has been on some sort of antibiotic since Labor Day.
We went back to the doctor 2 weeks ago for the same thing...the cough.
The doctor thought maybe it was a slight case of asthma.
So off to a specialist...who runs all these tests and thankfully determines it's not asthma.
Another 2 weeks of antibiotics and guess what?
He comes home sick from school Tuesday.
He tells me 90 kids in his school are out sick.
90 Kids.
It's not that big of a school.
He laid on the couch for the rest of the day and then around 8:00 started throwing up.
I couldn't get an appointment with the doctor yesterday.
They're booked solid.
Something's going around.
REALLY?
I have an appointment for him this morning with the doctor.
If you can, please say a prayer.
I hate to see him sick.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Michael with his Opa.
If my dad was still alive he'd be over here sitting with Michael on the couch
watching TV with him.
And Michael would love it.

Poor Michael. We had that out here too. Still making the rounds big time. I know of many who are sick. Not everyone waa tested for it but we're pretty sure it was swine. Ands you know it's funny. While everyone had VERY similiar symptoms, fever, cough, stuffy nose, aick to the stomach, (some vomited, others didn't) REALLY tired, for some it was a 5 to 6 day affair, and others it lasted two FULL weeks. (I am still someewhat coughing, though nothing like it was, it has been 3 weeks) My little 5 year old grandson missed 6 days of school and was still coughing and somewhat dragging several days after that. Soo who knows?? Some just get it worse. I will definitely pray for your poor son. He has had it long enough, poor guy. The photo is adorable by the way. Blessings to you, Debbie

I SAID A PRAYER FOR MICHAEL. MAY HE WALK IN DIVINE HEALTH IN JESUS' NAME....A MONTH IS A LONG TIME TO BATTLE THE CRUD. I LOVED THE PICTURE OF HIM AND GRANDPA.

I hope he will be feeling himself soon... This flu or whatever it is that is making our children ill has to go in Jesus Name!!! As a physicians wife I share this... found from Joyce Meyers website..
Exodus 15:26 reads, I the Lord am thy physician. The medicine He prescribes is His Word.
Many make the mistake of substituting belief in healing for the actual taking of God’s medicine – His Word. They say, “I believe in healing” without actually taking the medicine. What good would it do for you to believe in food if you didn’t eat it? You would starve. What good would it do for you to believe in water if you didn’t actually drink any? You would die of thirst.
God’s Word is His medicine. There are several parallels between God’s medicine and natural medicine.
First: God’s Word is a healing agent, just as natural medicine is a healing agent or catalyst. In other words, the medicine itself contains the capacity to produce healing. Inherent within God’s Word is the capacity, the energy, the ability, and the nature to effect healing in your body.
Hugs!!!
