Michael.
He's sick.
He's been sick since Labor Day.
He came down with a typical upper respiratory infection over Labor Day weekend.
Which then went into bronchitis.
Which left behind a terrible, annoying cough.
He has been on some sort of antibiotic since Labor Day.
We went back to the doctor 2 weeks ago for the same thing...the cough.
The doctor thought maybe it was a slight case of asthma.
So off to a specialist...who runs all these tests and thankfully determines it's not asthma.
Another 2 weeks of antibiotics and guess what?
He comes home sick from school Tuesday.
He tells me 90 kids in his school are out sick.
90 Kids.
It's not that big of a school.
He laid on the couch for the rest of the day and then around 8:00 started throwing up.
I couldn't get an appointment with the doctor yesterday.
They're booked solid.
Something's going around.
REALLY?
I have an appointment for him this morning with the doctor.
If you can, please say a prayer.
I hate to see him sick.

If my dad was still alive he'd be over here sitting with Michael on the couch
watching TV with him.
And Michael would love it.

That is just awful. I had a son like that and we stayed running test and it was allergy and he got tubes put in.Rian was antibiotics so much they didn't even work anymore.
I hope things get better soon and we will pray.

Hi Sweetie! Praying for Michael and a hedge of protection around your whole family!! I can't stand seeing my kids sick either. And this has been going on a long time!! Take good care of yourself, so you don't wind up with it, too!! Sunshine does wonders!! I'll pray you get plenty of it!!

It is so hard when your child (or grandchild in my case) is sick...but especially when this has gone on for so long now. Hang in there, mom, and be blessed in knowing so many prayers are going up to our Father on your little boy's behalf. The photo of your dad with him touched my heart as well...my dad passed away last year and he would have been 86 today. You have a beautiful blog...hoping to get to know you better through it...

Hi there, I'm here praying. It doesn't matter what age our kids are for when they're sick we still worry over them and if that weren't enough wait til you have grandkids.

Very scary! My grandson was sick recently. H1N1 flu. Hope they find out what's wrong with your little guy soon. Same thing here, so many kids out of school, the school nurse said she was seeing an average of 25 kiddos a day. WOW!
