I hope everyone enjoyed yesterday's
Walk Down Memory Lane 2011.
Today's Tuesday's Question is
"If you could use only ONE word, how would you
describe Christmas 2011?"
Christmas 2011 was...
JOYFUL.
One word sums it all up.
We had a JOYFUL time here at
Walking on Sunshine.
Christmas Eve dinner...
The Colonel and me...
My mom and Olivia...
Olivia and Michael getting ready to open gifts...
I hope and pray all my wonderful blogging friends did also!
Leave me a comment and let me know your answer.
And better yet, leave me a comment on my
Walking on Sunshine Facebook page!
On the menu at our house tonight:
Lasagna Roll Ups
I made an extra tray and froze them UNCOOKED when
I prepared them for our Christmas Eve dinner.
Meatballs and Sausage
Garlic Bread
Tossed Salad with Italian Dressing.
Enjoy your day!
I have a FANTASTIC recipe to share with you tomorrow!
Please come back!

Family
I see you were surrounded by your family.
Blondee says
Challenging.
Mr. Blondee really has struggled in the last 2 months, this holiday was very difficult for him since holidays are about family and there is no longer any chance of reconcilliation with his. I had everything left to me because he wasn't really functioning beyond his work. On the positive side, he started going to church in the weeks before Christmas, he is making progress, and he is beginning to resemble the person he used to be. 🙂

My one word would have to be "soothing" for the soul. I was able to enjoy time off with just me and the kids for a whole week...very soothing for a weary spirit! 🙂
Linda says
I was peaceful...since my brother accepted Christ on Christmas this year!
He was admitted to the hospital again today with too much water retention since his recent heart surgery. I am hoping they can get him back on the road to recovery!
Happy New Year Lois!
Love, Linda

My Christmas was a "restful" busy. Is there such a thing? I was busy but didn't stress myself out. I worked at an easy pace when tackling things that had to be done. More enjoyable that way.

Fun!!!!! It always goes by too fast and this year was no exception. Some family members have to leave to visit inlaws so we always start early and end early. So glad yours was a "joyful" time!♥

My word for this past Christmas would be Miracle. The miracle of my grandson surviving his traffic accident Christmas Eve, the miracle of the stranger who appeared and called 911. The miracle of him out shopping today, after 3 days in ICU, and two major facial reconstruction surgeries. The miracle that I survived going without sleep for three days, so I could be at his bedside. Yes, God is good.

So glad you had a JOYFUL Christmas! I would describe mine...peaceful...it was really such a good one. Hope you have a good day....HUGS
Cranberry Morning says
Great word - JOYFUL - and it would describe my Christmas too. If I had a second word, it would probably be 'crazy busy,' although that would be two words. 😉
And that is one of my favorite verses!
Chatty Crone says
Joyful is a good word - love that.
Mine this year was a real learning experience - so I will pick the word - experience.
Love, sandie
