Recipe Tips that help me put together Charcuterie Boards
Start with small bowls – Use little ramekins or dishes for dips, candies, or wet items to keep the board neat and organized.
Group by color – Arrange items in color sections (pinks, yellows, greens) to make the board feel fresh and festive.
Balance sweet and savory – Include a mix of cheeses, meats, fruits, and Easter candies so there’s something for everyone.
Use seasonal items – Add fresh spring produce like strawberries, carrots, and snap peas for color and crunch.
Fill in the gaps – Use small items like chocolate eggs, jelly beans, or nuts to fill empty spaces and give the board a full look.
Prep ahead – Wash and slice fruit, cube cheeses, and portion snacks ahead of time to make assembling fast and stress-free.
Add height and texture – Stack crackers or roll meats to give dimension and visual interest to the board.
Storage Tips
- Wrap leftover cheese in parchment, then place in a zip-top bag; use within a week. Salami lasts 2–3 weeks in butcher paper, while other deli meats stay fresh for 3–5 days.
- Store fruits and veggies with a damp paper towel in a container and use within 2–3 days.
- Keep carrots crisp in water for up to a week, and store deviled eggs in an airtight container for 2–3 days.
- Effective Kitchen Egg Storage - Ensure the freshness and protection of your eggs with our Egg Containers, featuring a secure green lid. Our 2 egg containers can accommodate up to 48 eggs, making it a practical addition to your kitchen essentials.
Freezing Tips
- Wrap goat cheese in plastic wrap and foil or a freezer bag; use within 3 months.
- Deli meats can be wrapped the same way and frozen for up to 2 months.
- Freeze fruits in a single layer first, then transfer to a zip-top bag and store for up to 1 year—perfect for smoothies!

Easter Charcuterie Board
Ingredients
- ½ pound ham
- ½ pound salami
- ½ pound prosciutto
- ½ pound provolone
- 4 ounce brie cheese
- 3 Babybel cheese
- 1 goat cheese
- ½ pound asparagus blanched
- 1 cup grapes
- 1 cup carrots
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 cup cucumber sliced
- ½ cup olives
- 1 cup apricots dried
- 6 deviled eggs
- ¼ cup whole grain mustard
- 4 rosemary sprigs
Instructions
- To make roses: Slice the meats and/or cheeses in half. Lay the slices flat and slightly overlap them. Roll the sheet tightly from one end to create a central bud. Then, arrange additional slices around the bud, gradually forming layers to resemble rose petals. Secure the layers with toothpicks as needed. Finally, shape and fluff the petals to achieve a more realistic rose appearance.
- Place the Brie in the middle. On the brie round, place one round of Babybel. Prop the other two rounds of Babybel at the bottom of the round of brie.
- Cut and shape the goat cheese into two ears. Place the ears at the top the brie.
- Arrange the remaining ingredients in a balanced manner across the board to resemble a garden. Fill in any empty spaces with rosemary sprigs.
