Cheese Puff Pastry Bites
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 2 cups fresh spinach shredded
- 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
- ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- ½ cup crumbled cooked bacon
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a mini muffin pan with non-stick baking spray and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, parmesan, and white cheddar cheese along with the bacon until well incorporated.
- Add in spinach and seasonings and mix until everything is combined and set aside.
- Unfold puff pastry and cut along the fold marks to make thirds. Cut each third in half lengthwise.
- Each long piece of puff pastry should be cut into 1 inch squares.
- Place 1 puff pastry square in each mini muffin cup. Use the tart tamper tool to press the puff pastry square in place and fill with a spoonful of spinach and cheese mixture.
- Refrigerate the muffin tin for 30 minutes to chill the dough.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Use a butter knife to loosen the edges and pop the pastries out of each muffin cup.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Best if eaten fresh.
- In you need to reheat, do so in the oven or air fryer for best results. Do not reheat in the microwave.
