Try to find the little "popper peppers" that come in different colors. They're usually sold in a cellophane bag in grocery stores or large box club stores. I think they make the cutest little "carrots."
Also try to slice the peppers lengthwise so they lay flat. After you slice the peppers in half and remove the membranes/seeds, you may find it necessary to trim just a little piece off of the bottom of each pepper so it lays flat.
Then once you fill them, they will sit evenly on the serving tray without leaning or tipping over.

Step 1: Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill, salt, and pepper together.

Easy Easter Appetizer
Ingredients
- 8 mini orange peppers
- 1 bunch dill fronds
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon chopped dill
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Slice the orange peppers in half lengthwise.
- Remove the seeds from the center of the peppers.
- Combine cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each pepper with the mixture.
- Stick a dill frond into the peppers to create a carrot.
