Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Start out making the Homemade Ranch Dip. You can try my Homemade Ranch Salad Dressing mix also!

Step 2: Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate. Keep the dip cold until right before serving.

Step 3: Cut the ears out of a slice of white cheddar cheese. You want to use a semi-hard cheese so the ears stand up.

Step 4: Cut a toothpick in half and insert the pieces into the Babybel cheese round. Place the ears onto the toothpicks sticking out.

Serving Tips

Step 5: Place the dip in the center of the board and arrange the cheeses, vegetables, nuts, and crackers to fill it in.

Step 6: Serve and enjoy!

To store any leftovers, you'll want to disassemble the board.

Refrigerate veggies and cheese in separate air-tight containers.

Cover the ranch dip tightly or add to an air-tight container to refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

Store the crackers in a zip top bag or air-tight container to help maintain their freshness.

The broccoli and the sugar snap peas can be frozen to be enjoyed later, but the rest of the items should not be frozen as it will effect their texture and quality.

For the Homemade Ranch Dip:

• 1 cup low fat plain yogurt not Greek yogurt
• 3 tablespoons mayo
• 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
• 2 tablespoons fresh dill
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon pepper

• sharp white cheddar
• manchego

Method

 

1. Add all dip ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk by hand until fully combined. Place into the refrigerator until ready to serve.
2. To make the bunny ears, carefully cut out ears in the sharp white cheddar cheese. Make sure the slice is thick enough so it can easily be pressed onto a toothpick without splitting. Be sure to hold the cheese while cutting so it doesn’t crumble.
3. Cut toothpicks in half and place the pointy side into the Babybel cheese. Slowly push the cheddar bunny ears onto the toothpick.
4. Arrange the board by placing the dip in the center and filling in with the crackers, veggies and cheeses based on the size and shape of your board.
