Substitutions and Variations
- Finding orange candy pieces can be a little difficult, so think outside the box!
- You could use cheese puff balls! Even Gold Fish Crackers would work.
- Check out how this one blogger made her Carrot Treat Bags using cheddar cheese popcorn! Heidi made a cute carrot top as well!
Storage Tips
- Store your treat bags in the pantry or in a closet for up to 2 weeks.
- The candy pieces would last longer than crackers or popcorn which tend to go stale faster.
Top Tip
- You can tie the ribbon in a bow or a simple double knot.
- Cut the ribbon at an angle to make a pretty "V" shape.
