What are chocolate melting wafers?
Chocolate melting wafers are small, round discs made of chocolate that are designed to melt quickly and evenly. They are often used in baking and candy-making as an alternative to chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.
Chocolate melting wafers are available in milk, dark, and white chocolate varieties, as well as a number of flavorings such as mint, orange, and almond. In addition to their ease of melting, melting wafers have several other advantages over traditional chocolate.
They do not contain cocoa butter, so they do not need to be tempered before use. They also have a very smooth texture that is perfect for creating shiny and smooth chocolate surfaces.
