Recipe Notes
- Try to use a non-stick pan when baking is recipe. If you can't, spray the pan with a non-stick baking spray. You don't want the rolls to stick to the pan!
 - Let the rolls cool slightly before flipping the pan over and removing them. It can be tempting to dig into your cinnamon rolls as soon as they come out of the oven, but letting them cool for a few minutes will help them set and become easier to handle.
 - Sticky pecan cinnamon rolls are best served warm!

Recipe Substitutions and Variations
Add raisins to the pecan mixture for a touch of sweetness.
Pecans are classic, but you could also use walnuts, almonds, or even macadamia nuts for a more decadent twist.
A pinch of cinnamon would be a great addition to the glaze.
For the glaze, you can substitute milk for the heavy cream.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Mix the brown sugar, pecans, and butter together in a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9-inch cake pan. The mixture is thick, so it might take a bit to get it spread out.

Step 3: Arrange the cinnamon rolls on top of the mixture.
Baking Instructions

Step 4: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown. Allow to cool a couple of minutes then place a plate on top, then carefully flip the pan over to remove the cinnamon rolls onto the plate.
Top Tips
Place the cake pan filled with the pecan rolls on top of a baking sheet just in case of any bubble over when baking.
To prevent sticking, carefully turn the cinnamon rolls out onto a plate a few minutes after they come out of the oven.
Prepare the Glaze

Step 5: In a microwave safe bowl, mix the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla. Drizzle on top of the pecan cinnamon rolls.

The topping goes into the pan first with the cinnamon rolls on top. Once they're baked, the pan is inverted onto a plate to flip them out of the hot pan with the pecan topping on top then.
You can proof canned cinnamon rolls simply by covering the rolls with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let them sit in a warm, draft-free area for about 30 minutes to an hour, or until they have doubled in size.
