How to set the table using Christmas Terrariums filled with trees, snow and twinkle lights as the centerpiece.
Christmas Terrariums
Today I want to share with you another idea for how to set the table with Christmas Terrariums as the centerpiece.
One of the more popular trends these days is creating your own terrariums using glass jars, mason jars, old pickle jars, you name it! I have had a love for mason jars since I was a teenager and use them in my home decor all the time. So let's see how I set the table using terrariums!

One of the more popular posts on my blog is the post I did on Christmas Terrariums a few years ago. My hubby must have read the post last year also because for Christmas he gave me everything I needed to make my own terrariums!
My kids thought that was a silly gift but not me! I was so happy and I couldn't wait to make my own Christmas terrariums. I already had my table set for our family for Christmas Day but I also knew I couldn't wait a year to use this great gift my hubby gave me.
So I created another table setting for our New Year's Eve dinner. We don't do much on New Year's Eve; it's usually just my mom, hubby and the kids for dinner but I didn't let that stop me. I got out my mason jars and a few of the big glass jars I have and in just a few minutes I had the beginning of a really nice centerpiece.
An overhead shot. These are really so easy to make.
This is one of my antique mason jars. But you can purchase new ones on Amazon. I have!

Here's the table set for New Year's Eve dinner. I used my every day white dishes, my antique red glasses and Christmas plaid napkins. Nothing really fancy, but oh so pretty. I added fresh pine from the trees that line our property, red candle holders, pine cones, fake berries and even a strand of small battery operated twinkle lights.
Isn't that pretty? I love this look and think it would be beautiful for your Christmas table too.
Here's a closeup of the terrariums with the twinkle lights. And if you're wondering, I kept this up until the end of January since it really was a more winter centerpiece. At the end of January I put the snow in a large zip lock bag to save to use for this holiday season.
