Substitutions and Variations
- If you don't have Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips, you can use crushed peppermints or candy canes instead.
- Swap the regular Oreos out for the mint ones!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together then add in the eggs.
Step 2: Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
Step 3: Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and dry pudding mix. Mix into the butter/sugar mixture.
Step 4: Add the crushed Oreos.
Step 5: Add the chocolate chips
Step 6: Then add the peppermint baking chips.
Step 7: Carefully stir in the mix-ins.
Step 8: Mix until well combined.
Baking Instructions
Step 9: Fill parchment lined baking sheets with tablespoons of cookie dough. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill the dough balls.
Step 10: Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven.
Quick Tip
When the cookies come out of the warm oven, press a few extra chocolate chips, peppermint chips, and crushed cookies into the top of the freshly baked cookies. This way everyone can see exactly what's in the cookies!

Storage Instructions
Room Temperature: Store your completely cooled Christmas Cookies with Oreos in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
Freezer: You can make the dough ahead of time and freeze the dough balls in a single layer on a baking sheet for about 30-60 minutes. Once hardened, store in a zip top freezer bag or freezer safe container.
Freeze already baked cookies by allowing them to fully cool before adding to a freezer safe container with pieces of wax paper or parchment paper in between the layers of cookies. Freeze for up to 3 months.
Thaw: Bake the dough balls from frozen by adding a couple of minutes to the baking time. Thaw the already baked cookies at room temperature on a plate or wire rack for 30-60 minutes.

Christmas Cookies with Oreos
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ⅓ cups brown sugar
- 1 1 ounce package dry vanilla pudding mix (sugar free pudding mix)
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extact
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 Oreo Sandwich Cookies
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
- 1 10 ounce package Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips
Instructions
- Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer.
- Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat for an additional 2 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and dry vanilla pudding mix. Add the mixture to the butter/sugar mixture and combine.
- Carefully stir in the crushed cookies, peppermint baking chips, and the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking trays in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill the dough balls. You can also freeze the dough balls at this point.
- Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 10 minutes.
