I love a good snack, especially during the Christmas season. There's something about sitting around the TV watching a movie and enjoying a few different savory snacks.

A lot of the snacks featured here on Walking on Sunshine are sweet...like my Reindeer Christmas Treats. However, when I'm preparing a snack for myself, I always reach for something savory. Or a little sweet and savory combination.

How many appetizers do I need for a Christmas Party?

One of the biggest questions for any host is how much food you need. Depending on the size of your group and level of hunger, you might want to adjust this ratio up or down.

Planning the perfect Christmas party can often feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to deciding on the food. If you're serving appetizers, one good rule of thumb is to figure on about three appetizers per person.

That may seem like a lot, but allow for guests to possibly take seconds and thirds, or decide to skip a main dish altogether.
