Tips for Portable Pie Perfection!
Use any flavor of Teddy Grahams you prefer—cinnamon or honey flavors work especially well with apple pie filling.
For convenience, use canned apple pie filling. If you prefer a homemade touch, you can make your own apple pie filling.
Opt for canned whipped topping for a quick assembly, or whip up your own cream for a fresher taste. You can also add a touch of vanilla extract to your whipped cream for extra flavor.
Carefully open the Teddy Grahams snack packs without tearing them. We suggest using scissors to cut the packs open to fill.
How long do these Walking Apple Pies stay fresh?
They are best enjoyed immediately. If you need to store them, cover and refrigerate for up to 1-2 days. The Teddy Grahams will soften slightly over time.
Can I use a different type of snack pack besides Teddy Grahams?
While Teddy Grahams are ideal for this recipe, you can experiment with other snack packs with animal crackers or vanilla wafers.

Try different pie fillings like strawberry, cherry, or even pumpkin pie filling for a great fall variation!
Instead of canned whipped topping, use Cool Whip or make your own Homemade Whipped Cream.
For added flavor, sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top of the whipped cream. You can also drizzle a little caramel sauce!

Storage and Reheating Instructions
Refrigerate: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. The texture of the cookies might become soggy due to the moisture from the filling and whipped topping.
To maintain the best quality, it's recommended to assemble the walking dessert just before serving.
Freezer: It is not recommended to freeze any leftovers. This dessert is best freshly made.
