Tips for Perfect Antipasto Skewers
Cut ingredients into bite-sized pieces that are easy to eat off the skewer. Fold or roll meats and cheeses to make them easier to skewer.
Make your skewers visually appealing by choosing ingredients with different colors.
Arrange ingredients thoughtfully on the skewer, alternating between flavors and textures. Avoid placing similar items next to each other. Leave a little space between each ingredient to make it easier to eat.
How far in advance can I prepare the cups?
Most ingredients can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance. To keep them fresh, assemble the skewers and store them in the refrigerator, covered with plastic wrap or in airtight containers. Add the prepared skewers to the cups a few hours before the event, and keep covered and refrigerated until time to serve.
How do you put salami on skewers?
If the salami slices are thin and flexible, you can fold them in half or roll them up to create a more compact shape that's easier to skewer.
Thicker slices can be threaded directly onto the skewer. Aim to pierce the salami through the middle so it stays securely on the skewer.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 2: Add a strawberry to a pick followed by 3 blueberries then end with one more strawberry. Place the pick behind the salami.
Step 3: Add 2 green olives and 2 Kalamata olives to a pick. Place next to the fruit skewer behind the salami pick. Place a sparkler pick behind the skewers and they're ready to serve!

Prep Ahead and Storage Instructions
Prep Ahead Tips: Some ingredients like the cheese, salami, and olives can be prepped up to 24 hours in advance. Cut the cheese into cubes and skewer with the salami slices. Drain and skewer the olives, and store in a separate container. Keep the ingredients covered in airtight containers or with plastic wrap. Wash and dry the fruit closer to time to assemble the cups.
Refrigerate: Assemble the cups a few hours before the party and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Top Recipe Tip
Try to assemble them as close to serving time as possible. This ensures the freshness and crispness of the ingredients, especially the fruit and vegetables, which can become soggy if left sitting for too long.
