For this recipe, I used pre-made brownies but you can easily use a bake a brownie mix at home or use a homemade brownie recipe.

Boxed brownies are a convenient dessert option, but they can often be too sweet or cake-like for some people's taste. If you're looking for a way to improve boxed brownies, there are a few simple tricks you can try.

• First, add a small amount of instant coffee powder to the mix. This will enhance the chocolate flavor without making the brownies too bitter.
• Second, substitute half of the recommended amount of oil for applesauce. This will give the brownies a moist texture without making them greasy.
• Finally, add a handful of chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter before baking. These additions will give the brownies a richer flavor and a more interesting texture.

💭How to cut brownies without them falling apart

Boxed brownies are usually very dense, which can make them difficult to cut without them falling apart.

• The best way to cut them is to first let them cool completely so that they are firm.
• Then, use a sharp knife and cut straight down through the brownie, being careful not to saw back and forth. For homemade brownies, it is often best to err on the side of under baking them so that they are more moist and easier to cut. If they are too dry, they will be more likely to crumble when cut.
• When cutting brownies, it is also important to use a clean knife so that you do not drag crumbs through the uncut brownies.
• A serrated knife can be helpful for getting clean cuts.

Step 1 | Combine the Ingredients

• Cut the brownies into 6 even squares.
• Place two drops of melted chocolate on the corners of each brownie.
• Add the pretzel twists on top of the melted chocolate to create the antlers.
• Place more melted chocolate on top of the brownies and add the candy eyes.
• Stick a jelly bean into the brownie to create a Rudolph nose.

For these reindeer brownies, I used a different type of candy eyes. These are cute candy eyes from Wilton. Some of the candy eyes have eyelashes, which I thought were a cute change from the traditional candy eyes I use on other the Reindeer Christmas Treats.

• One of the best things about brownies is that they are easy to package as gifts.
• For example, boxed brownies can be wrapped in cellophane and tied with a bow.
• If you want to get creative, you can cut the brownies into shape with cookie cutters.
• Another option is to make brownie pops by inserting sticks into the brownies and dipping them in chocolate.
• Whatever packaging you choose, make sure to include a note with your name so that the recipient can thank you for their delicious gift!
