You only need three ingredients to make this classic Air Fryer Peach Dump Cake recipe only this time we're going to bake it in the air fryer.
Don't worry, we'll still "dump" the ingredients together! It's going to be easy, fast and delicious.
This is another one of my peach dessert recipes you're going to want to make again and again. Don't forget to grab the FREE Air Fryer Baking Time Chart below!
This air fryer peach dump cake recipe is the same as my traditional Peach Dump Cake only instead of baking it in the oven, it's made in the air fryer.
Since I have a basket style air fryer, it's too small to fit a traditional sized baking dish or pan, so I chose to make individual portion sizes. The baking ramekin I used is 5 inches wide by 2 ½ inches deep.
This easy dessert is a little more than one full serving, and plenty for two to share. Especially if you make this for a romantic evening at home.
When you pull this recipe out of the air fryer, make sure you add a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream on top. The warmth of the peach dump cake will start to melt the ice cream and the taste is pure heaven!

Baking with Canned Peaches
Access to ripe peaches is difficult in my area of the country. We don't have local peach trees this far up north. But that's okay because I have learned to bake and create desserts made with canned peaches that taste amazing; like this easy dump cake recipe.
For this recipe, I used a white cake mix. You could also substitute either a yellow or vanilla flavored cake mix if that's all you had in your pantry.
Can I bake in an Air Fryer Oven?
Yes, you can bake in an air fryer oven! These versatile appliances are like small convection ovens, perfect for baking cakes, cookies, muffins, and even bread. Just remember to slightly lower the temperature and shorten the baking time compared to a traditional oven.
Tips for Baking in an Air Fryer
Make sure your baking dish fits comfortably inside the air fryer oven without touching the sides.
Lower the temperature by about 25°F (15°C) compared to a regular oven recipe, and check for doneness about 10-15 minutes earlier.
Leave enough space between items like cookies or muffins to allow for proper air circulation.
Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes before adding your baked goods.
Since cooking times can vary, check your baked goods frequently towards the end of the recommended baking time to avoid overcooking.

Main Ingredients Needed
Here's a quick overview of the ingredients for this recipe. Find the exact amounts and click the Instacart button to easily add them to your cart – all in the printable recipe card below!
- Cake mix - I used a white cake mix. You could also use a yellow or vanilla flavored.
- Canned peaches - when baking with canned fruit, I always try to use fruit canned with 100 percent fruit juice.
- Butter - for added flavor.
QuickTip
The amount of ingredients you place inside the baking dish really depends on the size of your baking dish. My dish measures about 6" wide by 2 ½" deep.
Step-by-Step Directions
Step 1: Place the baking dish in the air fryer.
Step 2: Next, lightly coat the inside of the dish with non-stick baking spray, then add the peaches. I used about one cup of canned peaches for this size dish, but you may need to adjust the amount depending on the size of your air fryers' baking dish.
Step 3: Drizzle a few tablespoons of the reserved peach juice over the fruit; this will help the cake bake evenly.
Step 4: Finally, sprinkle approximately ⅓ cup of cake mix over the peaches.
Air Fryer Baking Instructions
Step 5: Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, using approximately 2 tablespoons for a standard-sized baking casserole dish. Carefully place the basket inside your preheated air fryer and cook at 325°F (163°C) for 20 minutes.
Step 6: After 20 minutes, check for doneness – the top should be set and the edges should appear lightly browned. If needed, increase the heat to 400°F (204°C) and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the topping achieves a beautiful golden brown color.
Top Tip
Be careful when removing the ramekins from the air fryer basket. The ramekins and the contents will be hot, so be careful!
Cooling Tips
Allow the dump cake to remain in the air fryer for a few minutes or until you're able to lift it out without burning yourself!
Set it on a baking cooling rack to cool down until it's ready to be topped with ice cream or homemade whipped cream.
Dump Cake Serving Tips
Dump cake recipes are best served warm with a scoop of either vanilla ice cream or homemade whipped cream.

Storage, Freezing, Thawing and Reheating Tips
Refrigerator: Allow the dump cake to cool completely at room temperature. This prevents condensation from forming inside the storage container, which could make the cake soggy. Place the dump cake in a storage container in the refrigerator. It should keep well for up to 3-4 days.
Freezer: Place the wrapped cake in a freezer-safe container or resealable bag, and label it with the date. It can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Thawing: Thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
Reheating: Place the individual portions in the microwave for 30-60 seconds or bake the whole cake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-30 minutes.

Air Fryer Peach Dump Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cans peaches with juice; 15 ounce size each
- 1 stick butter; melted
- 1 box white cake mix; 15.25 ounce size
Instructions
- Place the baking dish in the air fryer.
- Spray the baking dish with non-stick baking spray then add the peaches. I used about one cup of canned peaches for this size baking dish. You may need to add more or less depending on the size of baking dish that fits inside your air fryer.
- Now add a few tablespoons of the juice from the canned peaches. You need some of the liquid from the canned peaches to help the dump cake cook.
- Then sprinkle about ⅓ cup of the cake mix on top.Add the melted butter on top of the cake mix; again, I used 2 tablespoons for this size baking casserole dish.
- Place the basket inside the air fryer and cook on 325°F for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, check to make sure the air fryer peach dump cake is baked. Then turn the heat up to 400 and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes so the topping browns.
Notes
- The amount of ingredients you place inside the baking dish really depends on the size of your baking dish and what fits inside the air fryer. My dish measures 5" wide by 2 ½" deep.
- Remember, all air fryers cook differently. It depends on the wattage, and the size of the baking dish you are using, You may need to add a few minutes or subtract a few minutes to the total baking time.
- I was able to make 6 individual cakes using this recipe and my size baking dish.
