New to Air Frying?
If you're just getting started with air frying, check out all the tips and tricks included in my Air Fryer Recipes for Beginners digital cookbook.
Included is everything you need to make delicious, crispy food without all the hassle.
Baking in an Air Fryer
Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the muffins in multiple batches. Ensure that the silicone molds do not touch or overlap to allow even cooking.
If you don't have silicone molds, you can use paper liners placed in small ramekins.
Air fryers can vary in cooking times, so check for doneness a minute or two before the suggested time. Insert a toothpick into the center of a muffin; if it comes out clean or with a few crumbs, the muffins are done.

If the tops are browning too quickly, you can lower the air fryer temperature by 10-15°F and extend the cooking time slightly.
Preheating your air fryer helps ensure even cooking and a consistent rise in the muffins.
Storage and Reheating Instructions
Room Temperature: Store muffins for up to four days in an airtight container at room temperature. Prevent condensation by allowing the muffins to fully cool before adding to an airtight container.
Freezer: Muffins can be frozen for up to three months. To freeze, allow them to cool completely, then wrap each muffin in plastic wrap or aluminum foil then place in a freezer safe zip top bag or airtight container.
Thaw and Reheat: To thaw frozen muffins, remove them from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for about 1-2 hours. For quicker results, you can microwave a muffin for 20-30 seconds or reheat in an air fryer at 320°F for about 5 minutes.
Top Recipe Tip
Avoid overfilling the silicone molds. Fill them only about ¾ full to allow room for the muffins to rise and expand.
