Candy Cane Parfaits are easy to make and full of delicious peppermint flavor. Turn store-bought angel food cake into a delicious Christmas dessert!

Angel food cake, candy cane pieces and whipped cream in mason jars.

Candy Cane Parfaits

Our 12 Days of Christmas Celebration continues with the perfect dessert to serve for all your holiday celebrations this year! Candy Cane Parfaits are easy to make and full of delicious peppermint flavor.  AND they’re made in my favorite mason jars!

They’re so easy to make when you start out with a store-bought angel food cake.  Of course, you could make a homemade angel food cake, but it’s not really necessary.  Definitely make the homemade whipped cream though because the taste is amazing and doesn’t compare to the kind you can buy in a tub.

In just a few minutes you’ll have these delicious Candy Cane Parfaits ready to go!  Use them as dessert for Christmas dinner or make up a bunch to give as gifts to neighbors and friends.

12 Days of Christmas Celebration

Make sure you take some time to check out all the other days in our 12 Days of Christmas Celebration!  I have them listed at the bottom of this post for you to easily click to read.

How to Use a Plastic Storage Bag as a Piping Bag

If you don’t have a piping bag, simply use a plastic storage bag!

  1. Place the plastic bag in a large glass and fold the top of the bag over the edge of the glass
  2. Spoon the whipped cream into the bag.
  3. Fold up the bag and squeeze out the air to seal.
  4. Press the whipped cream into the bottom of the bag and twist to create a piping bag shape.
  5. Using scissors, clip the corner of the storage bag right before you’re ready to pipe the whipped cream.
