French Bread Pizza with Meat Sauce
When I need an easy recipe for dinner, I love making French bread pizza with meat sauce.
The other night I needed to put dinner together quick. I was out most of the day running errands and I didn't want to go through a drive thru and bring dinner home. I really wanted to take the time to cook dinner.
Then I remembered I had a loaf of French bread waiting for me at home that I purchased from Walmart the day before for one dollar.
Yes, $1.00. Dinner was going to be quick and inexpensive using the loaf of French bread and some pantry stables that I always have on hand. French Bread Pizza with Meat Sauce was a meal that my family loved and is already asking for again!
Homemade Meat Sauce
But first I needed to make the meat sauce. I decided to keep it really simple and brown up some lean ground beef and then add a jar of my favorite marinara sauce.
Sometimes the easiest recipes are the ones your family requests over and over again. Who really can blame them especially when it's something as delicious as pizza. I think my family can eat pizza a few nights a week and not complain. I know I can!
