- Cured meats can be arranged on the board a few hours in advance; cover tightly and refrigerate until serving.
- Set out serving platters and bowls the day before, then add crackers and nuts a few hours ahead, keeping them covered to stay fresh.

Storing Leftovers
- Wrap leftover cheeses tightly and store them in the refrigerator, preferably in the crisper drawer.
- Keep meats and any remaining dips in airtight containers in the fridge.
- Store crackers and bread at room temperature in airtight containers to maintain texture.
- For best quality, enjoy leftovers within 3–5 days and check for any signs of spoilage before serving again.

The 3-3-3 rule is a simple guideline for creating a balanced charcuterie board. Aim for 3 cheeses, 3 meats, and 3 starches to offer a delicious variety of flavors and textures for your guests.
A classic charcuterie board often features a soft cheese like brie, a semi-hard cheese like cheddar, and a hard cheese like Parmesan for a pleasing variety of textures.
The calorie count of a charcuterie board can vary widely depending on the ingredients you choose and portion sizes. Because boards often include a mix of cheeses, meats, crackers, fruits, and sweets, it’s best to enjoy a variety in moderation and adjust selections to fit your preferences or dietary needs.
